Is this a normal text message or a text message with pictures in , known as a mms message.
If mms message then you'll need to have your mobile phone account provisioned for mms.
Bear in mine mms is typically a charge per message sent affair.
What's happening when you try to send a text ?
Can you recieve texts ?
Is this texts to all your contacts or a specific person ? If so ensure you haven't inadvertently blocked them.
If this is a normal sms text message then check in your phone that your messaging centre is correct.
In the search bar at the top of your phone type in message centre.
This specific messaging centre number should be in the support pages of your network.
If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.
