It's a regret to update my phone S23 Ultra this morning. Now I can't swipe the screen with my finger. The screen only response to the S Pen. I wished there is a way to go back and simply uninstall the update. The phone is very expensive and it's not even 2 years I've been using it. I enjoyed all the functions until this update put me into frustration. I've tried all the tips given alas non is working. So what's next Samsung? How to fix this back? I still want my phone back to its original functionality. By the way I found out the battery icon always showing 0% even though it's on charged. It doesn't even show the charging symbol anymore. Please reply.

I'm sorry to see that people are having this kind of issue with their S23 phones. If no one has done so already, I'd highly recommend clearing the cache partition on your phone. This will not remove any data, it will simply delete any unused files that may have become corrupted. Simply follow the steps below to do this:

> Connect your phone to a computer using your USB charging cable.
> Turn your phone off.
> Hold down the Volume up and Power buttons on your phone at the same time. Keep holding the buttons until you see the Android logo.
> Release the Power button.
> When the screen goes blue/black release the Volume up button.
> Using the Volume down button, scroll down to "wipe cache partition".
> Press the Power button to select this option.
> Use the Volume down button to scroll to "Yes".
> Press the Power button to confirm.
> Press the Power button to select "Reboot system now".

So I fixed my phone update google & then erase cache partition in the app settings. Turn phone off exactly right after. Hold vol up and power till you see it go past all the logos till you see the android operating system functions. Erase phones cache partition and restart. It will solve the issue Goodluck ✌🏻

A while back I had my screen replaced with a non members version. According to other forums on the web, this latest software update will only work on Genuine Samsung Screens. I have cleared caches, updated Google etc but nothing works. Looks like a may have to buy a new screen just for a software update. Thanks Samsung.
