Hallo there,
As subject says.
My S23U SLOW charge only after UI 6 and Jan 2024 update 😞
The best part is it says 40 minutes to full charge BUT after about ONE HOUR says 20 minutes too full charge and then this 20 minutes takes ANOTHER HOUR
Do I have to pay Samsung to this work again?

I am having the same issue with a brand new cord that is from Verizon and. Multiple power plugs. My device will only charge with a usb-c to usb-a cord on slow charge, I noticed the issue after the latest update on the 12th of January. I also have noticed sometimes the cord being plugged in isn't recognized immediately and will lag on the battery icon showing it is charging. Usb-c to usb-c cord won't even register, I've tried 3 seperate cords and power plugs.

Mine repaired ITSELF - I suspect software update repaired it.

Aaah, i just read this whole post and mine actually started having issues since the update from 3 weeks ago, s23 ultra with the samsung 45w charger and the cable that supports that output... gah i guess we wait untill march in hopes of this getting settled with that rumored update because using tickets is like putting glue on an amputated arm...
they would do their best to make sure you waste 5 hours of your life for nothing.
i went to reddit and youtube and found nothing on this.
the only thing that enabled fast charge for 2 days was turning the option for fast charge few times on and off and then restarting the phone, now even that doesnt work so yeah.
should something change il let you guys know.

Since 24 Feb when I installed a phone update my usbc was only allowing slow charge and some chargers/cables stopped working (not being recognised as plugged in). Samsung online help just blamed the chargers/cables. However the chargers work for my flatmate on Samsung phone, so they recommended attending a repair centre with any work possibly under warranty. I put this off and luckily I did. Just installed the March update and bingo, all the "broken non genuine chargers" now charge again. Samsung help just goes by a script and they don't think outside the box or accept alternative issues! Can't believe a software update could cause such an issue. Hopefully not too many people with the same issue had their usb ports unnecessary replaced!
