I still haven't gotten the update for the one UI 7 one my s23 ultra the phone region is from Canada but I moved to Nigeria. What's could be the issue

Yes it probably will. Updates not working means you are probably using a phone in the wrong country or using a phone imported from another country.

The only fix I'm aware of is buying a cheap sim card for the country your phone is originally from and putting it in once a month. Ideally pay as you go with free roaming in your current country.

You can also try using the smart switch pc software to update the phone but I've never seen that fix this issue before

Have been trying to use the smart switch by PC but nothing like software update is popping up.. so sad 💔

The phone region shows USA but I bought it in Nigeria.

For smart switch, 3 dots top right, check for updates.

If that doesn't work, a cheap pay as you go sim might be the only option.

Though a US model phone sold in Nigeria is a little strange

Please do you know how i can use Odin patch to flash flash my device from SM-S918U to SM-S918U1..?

People say that's the solution but i don't know how...

You shouldn't use odin as a normal person. It voids your warranty and can permanently damage your device. Flashing your phone with software and firmware not designed for it is modifying the device in ways it was not supposed to be changed. Odin is for flashing the correct software onto a device if an update failed or there is a serious system error.

Are you trying to carrier unlock your device or something?
