Shared photo album

I have the S23 ultra, my husband the S22 ultra.

I created a shared photo album in the gallery app so we could share photos of our new daughter.

I want to move these photos and put them on my laptop but am having problems.

On my phone, if I select all in the shared album and select download it doesn't download them all.

If I plug my phone into my laptop I can't see the shared album.

Does anyone have any suggestions? The whole point of the shared album was so we both had all photos of our daughter. Need to move them from a shared album to my laptop as shared album is full and we can then start a new one.

Have you a Google account ?? If so Google pictures will save you from moving pictures as everything will be moved automatically.
All will be available to view and download or to move into another folder.

Download the app on the app store it should already be on your phone I use this to transfer files seemlessly

I already have the photos on my phone, they are in a shared album. I just need to get the shared album from my phone to my laptop

This doesn't back up shared albums, or isn't doing currently and I can't see a setting to change
