I have the Samsung s23 plus and I've just tried to share a photo to messenger and it's coming up with allow permissions to camera roll, ive always shared thru messenger with mo problems?
My camera permissions are all set in messenger whilst using the app but the Message keeps popping up and won't allow? I can't find a tab for camera roll on settings ?

Hi I meant to post an update, I deleted the app and reinstalled and everything was fine, very weird I've used android for 20 years and that had never happened. Thanks for replying 👍

Whew. This has been making me crazy. Did you delete the Google photos or the Messenger app?

Mine's been doing that the past few days and I just googled to see if I can find out and answer to the problem and it took me here so I'm going to uninstall and reinstall I hope that helps me too. Thanks!

Simple solve. Turn off all permissions in messenger. Close all apps. Pick a photo from gallery and share to messenger. You'll get a pop up asking you to allow camera roll. There is also an allow all option. Click that. Problem solved. Worked for me on Samsung S23 after trying lots of other steps from various forums.
