I have to concur with you over that battery draining. I am charging my phone (SG23U) more than I should be.

This has been my first Samsung in quite a few years. I decided to give them another try after using Huawei and Oppo phones, which were excellent phones I might add.

I was an 'Apple tart' before Android, I hated the battery life on them, too. But, they seem to have got their act together... so I might jump ship when I can or see what's happening with the Oppo brand.

Unfortunately, I've already updated. I hope they sort it! 🙏

The Samsung software team really are letting their phone users down with these hurried, half baked updates. I mean provide a security patch, sure, but don't tweak the software to mess up people's battery life. I mean I absolutely love this phone, but at the moment I feel really annoyed, especially when we now have to wait for god knows how long before Samsung take their finger out and fix things.

Your frustration is very palpable.

We pay a lot of money for these 'gadgets' that we have become reliant on. It's not too much to ask for them to get it right.

Just a thought...

Have you checked your battery settings to check if the fast charging toggle is 'on'? I ask because it defaulted to 'off 'when the 6.1 update was installed on my SG23U. 🤔

Hi all, check your phone, I received a second May update yesterday & today I received the June update on my s24 ultra, so you never know.
It's worth checking.
