Okay, so I've done everything the same as you and I have a fix that was the only option left as nobody was getting back to me from samsung or Google over multiple app platforms too...
I had a screen replaced not too long before the update (about 3 weeks later) and after I update my phone stoped working bar the s'pen.
After speaking with multiple companies about it I went back to the phone repair shop and demanded a new screen but this time I want the original installed came back an hour later and bam phone works great.
So if you have a after market screen the only thing you can do is replace it and hope you can get away with only paying half price like I did.
Not fair that we have to pay for there update stopping our phones from working making us pay even more.
Not cool samsung.
