Samsung S23 Ultra's red tone selfie

Please Samsung, can you kindly do some software updates on the selfie pictures? It's always come out with a reddish tone. I am an Asian and my skin looks so red that I can not able to use the pictures. Even the front videos come out as red-tone skins. Do something about it. I am using Xiaomi 10 T for better selfies and a video. After spending so much on the phone and couldn't take a reasonable selfie will be a shame.

Hi @Ealan ,

so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this on your new phone. Have you tried this? With the front camera activated, tap the magic wand symbol in the top right corner, and check Filters, My Filters and Face to see if you're able to apply or remove any filters that improve the quality of your selfies. You can also try tapping the cog symbol in the top right, and disabling Selfie Colour Tone, if applicable.

I agree!  Every selfie makes me look like I have a sunburn!  I bought the phone for the camera and wish I had my old 20 note back!!

I agree. My skin looks so red, and so everyone's... please fix this. Not pretty....

Seems there is a general problem with color red - it's seen so strong by the camera that it cannot catch the details of the red items - even on the front cameras, and the problem is on all cameras, so it seems to be the software, not the actual cameras.

How can we place a complaint about this to get a firmware correction?

you see the photo looking perfect for a second, and then the red filter pops on! it's dreadful.

So far I'm so disappointed with this camera. I want my 21 ultra back. The skin tones are so red. The tress look fake. It's over enhanced. How can I fix this

Seeing as this is a software issue that has not been solved (currently November 2023) can we have a link or something to request an update on the front-facing camera software? It defaults to low light, and as it does so makes reds insanely vibrant. As someone with Rosacia the selfie-mode is virtually unusable unless in high noon daylight, which is unacceptable for $1400.

Also have same issue. I have a newborn baby her hair is blonde yet on photos looks ginger! Disappointed I won't be able to look back in months or years to come to remember the true colour of her hair
