Don't listen to everything you hear/read.(one ui 7)

So many different news about one ui 7. Its just confusing at this point. I currently own a s23 ultra and i have done loads of research on when my phone will recieve the update. Now the whispers are saying its been delayed for the s23 ultra to may. (Which was only confirmed for india) I spoke to a samsung rep and they confirmed it is being rolled out in the uk on or before the 22nd. I have ss from my chat with them.

There's lots of speculation flying around
Personally I'm not fussed about waiting for it on my Z Fold 5.
When it comes it comes.
I think at this point Samsung are looking to get the updates out as quickly as possible.
If an issue arises they can delay it.
But seems like the fixes are quite quick to rectify

Your right. It would look really bad on samsung if they would delay it especially with android 16 around the corner. So i agree with you on samsung trying to release the update as quickly as possible. People do have the right to be frustrated with them delaying it because they paid a premium for the phone. Updates should 100% be on time.

You pay for the phone, not updates.
You would have no idea what comes out later on.
The promise of software updates is a reassuring thing.

I'm playing around with Android 16 on my older Pixel 7 Pro
It's quite nice. But obviously being an older Pixel it probably won't get all the new features later on. But so far I like it. Builds on the Android 15 software

What do you think about the ai feature. Im going to be honest i dont like them. I wouldnt mind if they didnt add them. I would be happy with a fresh new ui design, quality of life changes with the phone and smoother expriance overall.

Well it's something that Google has done. Samsung has worked with Google to refine the experience and add features. Hence Galaxy AI.
In all honesty I wouldn't pay for the premium service as I just wouldn't use it like that.
But have to say some of the features i really like
But i get its not for everyone

I was a oneplus (oneplus 9 pro) owner before i purchased this s23 ultra and they optimize their phone perfectly. Buttery smooth. That was done without the help of ai. I hope samsung can replicate that.

I have had oneplus phones as well.
With Samsung you will never get that exact experience.
Samsung has the One UI software and tonnes of features
Like my Pixel 7 Pro. Oneplus will always have the edge
But Samsung has the stuff I want and need
But in all honesty, the S25 Ultra is an amazing device and i have no complaints about performance
It's quick and smooth. Great phone

I think they are trying to go with that similar route. From what i have seen online one ui 7 is closer to the oneplus and google pixel expriance with similar ui. Hopefully not long left until i get a hands on with the update.

Galaxy s23 series will receive oneui7 some time in may, not before may 2025 so forget about one ui7 I am wondering when my Galaxy s23ultra will receive April security patch 😀
