I upgraded to a Samsung S23 Ultra a few weeks ago and have just set up the phone in the last few days but away from WiFi there is no signal. I have 2 different network sim cards in and both show no connection. When within WiFi if I toggle settings it returns but as soon as I leave the house both shut off with a circle icon with a diagonal line through so it is of absolute no use to me. I have tried numerous suggestions from here and also factory reset twice. The same issue remains.
I see many posts on here showing the same problem which seems to link to an issue with an update?
I have an appointment with EE tomorrow to see what they say about the issue. If anyone can advise further please do?

Same issue but haven't tried anything but restarting it. Doesn't help, no signal. Even if it has several bars, won't work. I wish I could roll back this important security update and take my chances. I NEED MY PHONE NOW. It would be nice to hear from samsung on this issue. If this darn phone won't work I will need to buy another one asap and it won't be a samsung or Verizon again. This sucks.

Ok it is fixed. I have the S23 Ultra. Go to settings, scroll down to general management. Scroll down to reset push reset. Your options will come up reset your network. It will not erase anything then restart your phone. Apparently it has a problem with the antenna. They said the S22 had this issue and they could bring it somewhere and fix the antenna. I don't know about that but just reset your network and then restart your phone.

Hi, i have the same problem, the best option i found (after reset network settings, factory reset, new sim, new carrier, boot without sim and wifi, manually set apn, clear cache from recovery) was to change csc to GCF, disable cidmanager from adb and set Preferred Network to LTE only.
I described my whole process in xda with the title '[SOLVED] Poor/Weak signal after update'

It only takes a bit of searching to see that this problem is widespread.
My wife's older Samsung phone has a good signal in the same location that my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has either no signal, or one bar at best. Most of the time, it's no signal at all.

Can you tell a non tech person what this means? My S23 Ultra is not connecting to mobile data 50% of the time and it's super frustrating
