Samsung S23 FE documents folder is empty

Hi. Since I got the phone, the "Docs" folder is empty in my file manager. I have downloaded countless files but I can't see them. No PDFs, no ZIPs... My phone is Samsung S23 FE. My Android version is 14, and One UI version is 6.1.

 What can I do to fix this?

Hi @whyitsblack and warm welcome 👋

There should be app called "my files" you can look up in samsung store or Google play store it's by Samsung, and when you press documents, it should show you.

Also, allow all permissions.

Other thing go to settings > device care > press storage > select "show more" > press documents it should show you all downloads.

You using third party software for file manager. Samsung original has name My Files. So there is something wrong with permissions for third party app.

If you've downloaded zip files and pdf files they'll be in the download folder.

I use the Google files app as I find it easier to use when trying to find things
