I'm sorry you experienced this, of course it can happen to anyone, but when you receive an unusual or suspicious email from a "bank", don't respond to it, but call the bank and check if the email is fake or real.

I totally understand. The app itself that they told you to install is fake. They probably got you to download it from the Internet, which made you think it's genuine.

No I didn't download anything they just sent me the one time passcode which I did give it to them and then they obviously installed themselves because of the acces to my phone. And then I checked my email and it did say I've installed the Apple pay which I didn't so they did it

Oh ok. When you usually get a message about a one-time passcode, it always mentions that you should never share the code with anyone. Not even your bank. If anyone asks you for a one-time passcode, then it will always be a scammer. Never give it out to anyone as that's how they accessed your bank account.

Lesson for the future - call the bank first, even if the email is real, it's fine, but the bank will never ask you for any code. 😑🥺

Actually it did say do not share the code if you didn't call us but because it was coming from my bank messages I thought it's genuine that's why I give them the Bloody Code
