Hi,
My 23 plus was bought unlocked from 3, I no longer use a 3 SIM as now on EE but my phone OS is wrapped to 3 and I keep gettin game of the week and other things from them. Is there a way of stopping this? I guess a factory reset will just bring it back to the same state? Is there away of getting a general OS installed?

@Paulbbristol: Please be aware that phones purchased directly from mobile network providers will typically contain bespoke applications and software from that network. This isn't something that can be resolved by a factory data reset, however you may be able to uninstall some of the Three apps by swiping up from your Home screen and looking for a Three folder > Press and hold on the app icon > Uninstall.

You could (if you know how to and are confident enough to do it) flash the software to a non carrier version but it comes with risks.

I got my phone via EE unlocked and SIM free. I am not aware nor have found any network specific apps or software on the device but firmware updates are delayed and no access is given to beta versions so I'm assuming restrictions are still applied as it was purchased via a network even though there is no branding on the phone. Tread carefully if you decide to flash your firmware as it can brick your phone if it goes wrong and invalidate any warranties etc so can prove costly
