S23 very dark when i get a WhatsApp notification , since last update

Very dark screen when i get a notification from WhatsApp , been thought settings tried brightness , doesn't change any thing been like this from last update ! Anyone help with this

I can't seem to screen shot when the phone is locked , sorry its just very dark screen i can't read it until i unlock it

I've tried that related post trying the aod brightness to max and turn the adaptive brightness off and it seems to have worked 💪🏻 hopefully it will get properly rectified

Hi,

Go to settings, Lock screen > Always on display. Click tap to show.

Switched off the auto brightness and adjust manually the brightness.

I have the same problem and don't wanna screen shot every WhatsApp how do i fix bare in mind in mind im 37yr old woman with no technology skills lol maybe i should give my step daughter🤣 she knows more than me registered nurse and can't even work my own phone
