S23 Ultra WIFI 6E not finding network EU

Just got the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and just cannot find my WIFI 6E 6Ghz band, I have a Asus GT-AXE-16000 router.

Same issue with my two Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, so am thinking maybe Qualcomm does not support EU channels, because my S22 Ultra works just fine, as well as my Intel NUC 12 Pro, only my Qualcomm devices cannot see  this network.

Have tried several channels, change varies settings, even tried to use Enhanced Open, and change SSID to long, short, only caps, and so on, they can just not see the network at all. Tried WIFI scanner software, nothing it showing up in the 6Ghz band.

Any helt will be very appreciated, thanks.

I have similar issue with my s23 ultra, I found easy fix , make sure your phone not connect to any wifi network , try to forget wifi network then magically you will see wifi 6e 6ghz network , seems if phone has active wifi connection on 2.4 or 5ghz could not find 6ghz wifi ssid

Hi,

I managed to get wifi 6e showing. Turn on developer mode and you want to go to WiFi safe mode and enable it. To turn on developer mode go to settings>about phone>software information and press build number seven times.

Works here as well, nice find! Finally able to use WIFI 6e.

Also works with my Tab S8 & S8 Ultra.

New firmware out today for S23 Ultra, fixed the issue for me.

My S23 Ultra is still not finding my 6G Wifi from myAXE5400  Router.

All available Updates are installed. 

Edit: I just found out, that I can only use Wifi 6E when I'm not in Flight Mode. In Flight-Mode it only finds 5G and 2G network. WTF, Samsung!

At home, I'm always in flight mode with WLAN an BT on because I dont need the mobile Radio running and cosuming battery when at home.

So I con constantly "break" my wifi 6e on 6Ghz running wifi analyzer (v3.6).   I simply run speed test and the network destabilizes.   Running Google speed test is fine.   This tells me it's definitely a software bug.

So after March 23, 2023 update, it's a bit better but still drops 6ghz network when watch vedios and doimg speed test and going live.   Very very problematic still
