S23 Ultra USB-C external DAC problem

Previously I have a note 10+

been using it to connect external DAC like iFi, Topping no problem works flawlessly.

Just swap to this new S23Ultra. everything crumble down when i connect the external DAC it doesnt work.

Once i connect the DAC, it plays song for 2 seconds. (it does work for 2 seconds) then my phone goes to freeze and a hard reboot.
try on multiple audio app, gallery, youtube, deezer all freeze and reboot

Tried many times it doesn't work.
1)go to developer mode, disable USB routing(done) nope still reboot
2)try giving permission to Samsung USB-C headset Music and Audio permission, still freeze and reboot ( no storage permission)
3) Wipe Cache Partition tried doesn't work

nothing works, now i cant enjoy music with external dac. 
Anyone got similar problem?

I have found a workaround that works and there is no cracking.

I'm using:

-DOSMIX HiFi Audio Pro DAC (but will try other DACs as soon as possible)

-Samsung OEM OTG Type C to Type A Female

-Generic USB Type A Male to USB Type C female converter

Let me just tell you that it is tacky and cumbersome

I'm first connecting the Samsung OEM OTG Type C to type A Female to my cellphone, then the usb Type A Male to Type C female converter into the OTG, Finally I can plug in the USB Type C DAC and after a few seconds and a couple prompts I can listen through my DAC in Master quality audio.

Hi Speakerman, same problem here with a KGUSS Q2 Dac. My smaller Tempotec Sonata HD does work though. Is there a general petition for this issue where I can join?

I have the exact same issue, s23+ connected to a schiit multibit 2. Randomly 10-15 seconds of whine then goes away. It looks like support is poor with samsung, may need to switch back to iphone where i had no problems. I have seen post going back over a year for the s22 with no response or it being resolved

I've yet to find firm evidence that ANY usb external microphone works with the Samsung S23 Ultra in the UK.  I don't want to waste my money purchasing a microphone if that is the case. Is anyone able to select the USB option in Pro Video mode? The on board microphone is poor for live music compaired to my old Huawei P20 Pro, sounding muffled/muddy in the mid range of audio, and the signal is low. I have removed the plastic film protecting the microphones. How does one report issues to Samsung? I bought my S23 Ultra direct from their UK website.

***** . I have an s23 and I am about to.get a dac for tidal or Qobuz. So I'm screwed
I chose this model because of the hype I guess. Besides a phone I chose it for music as it has a built in 32bit/365,,kHz dac.
