S23 Ultra sound turns off

I was listening to Spotify on my S23 Ultra whilst cleaning vehicle interior. I switched on ignition to check mileage and after a few seconds the sound on my S23 turned off, is this normal? I.e safety when driving.
Turned ignition off and sound came back on on phone. This was same on YouTube also. The S23 was not connected to vehicle by Bluetooth or cable.

Thanks. After messing about for couple of hours I think phone had linked to car radio but wasn't playing through it. To complicate things radio menu was stuck in German and I couldn't understand I therefore did a full factory reset and started again. Think now its OK.

So the phone isn't connected physically or via android auto at all @Druid49  

It won't be a safety feature but maybe just a glitch or interruption in data / network signal connection  🤔 

If this continues try clearing the cache of the individual apps.

I have had my S23 Ultra stop playing Spotify when I arrive to my house (on bike).  I assume this is a WiFi issue with my phone switching from my phone provider to my WiFi setup.
