S23 Ultra Samsung Samsung Dex Not Connecting Via Wireless Connection

Hello!

I am having issue with my Samsung Dex connecting via wirelessly to my laptop using my S23 Ultra.

My S23 Ultra and laptop is connected in the same wifi network. My laptop is being shown in the list of computers that my S23 Ultra can connect to but upon connecting, it is having a message "Couldn't connect to (Computer Name) after clicking "Start Now"

May I know if there are other requirement for this?

What version Windows on your laptop? Any firewall running?

I am using a Windows 11 laptop and our firewall is only running web filtering not any app restrictions. 😞

Are they both on the same network?? If your phone is using mobile data then it will not connect to your laptop if it's on WiFi.

There is a little test you could try. Turn on your laptop and it's WiFi. Now make sure that the phones WiFi is turned on.
Does the phone show up on the laptops WiFi as a nearby signal.
