I'm not sure if this is normal, but does the s23 ultra use both speakers for music/Audio?
I've noticed only the bottom one is used on mine. Though testing the top speaker through this app does prove that the earpiece speaker does work.

Both speakers are used. Try a sound test for left and right channels. You'll easily hear the separation. Simpler yet, cover the bottom speaker and you'll know by the distinct drop off.

Thanks for that, Just tried the test for left and right channels and moving it all the way to the left mutes the phone completely. Must be time to contact Samsung. Thanks mate

Try factory reset first but I'd say it will be warranty swap.

Fixed - restarting the phone didn't work but a soft reset did the trick. Big sigh of relief.

Down volume button + power button for 15 seconds. Screen should turn black but I held it down for the full amount.

Just in case this isn't general knowledge, in Settings / Battery and Device care / Diagnostics, there are various tests to include Speakers.
