I have few music apps such as Mixcloud, few radio stations that after 10 minutes when the screen is off stop running. The moment I unlock my phone, the music is back. I checked the battery settings for each app allowing them to use the battery unrestricted but it didn't help. For some weird reason, Spotify works well. And if I go to the settings for apps to be put to sleep, these apps aren't on the list.
This is annoying as when I am at home I listen to the radio most of the time, but it keeps switching itself off.
Any ideas?
Thanks

It might just be worth checking the apps permissions too @Artographer

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

In addition to useful suggestions above also disable adaptive battery and disable put unused apps to sleep if enabled

Thanks, the problem is that some of these apps aren't showing on the list of apps.
And somehow right now Mixcloud works well in the background. I'll keep trying different options.

I have the Same Issues on the S23 Ultra, Listing to Planet Rock / Connected to Wifi (with good Signal). After 10 Minutes Each time the Radio Cuts Out. I've set the App to Unrestricted batter, and and turned off power saving, and it still does it.

I have the exact problem. Streaming and radio apps shut down 5min after the device is in standby. Only YouTube works. I've did all the suggestions in this feed and the problem is still there.

I have been having this same problem with YouTube Music app on my s23 ultra since the last recent update of April 2024. Samsung knows how to mess things up. Don't bother doing samsung tutor where you allow them to go into your phone. I did & they messed up my phone & I had to fix it. They didn't make it better. They made it worse. They don't accept accountability for their actions with updates ETC. My phone was overheating because of them. I was able to fix it myself & solve the problem. Thanks to God I'm techy
