S23 Ultra back cover original film

Hey there,

An hour ago I received my S23 Uktra in red colour and what I noticed first that there's some kind of film on the back. It's nearly edge to edge but there's a 0.5mm around that clearly shows that's there something covering the back. And the colour seems to be different on the part which is uncovered. 

That's the best pic I can take trying to show this.

Does anybody know if this should be peeled of or it's something that should stay on the phone? I tried to Google it, it says there's a vinyl on the back but I tried to peel it of gently and it doesn't feel like it's coming off.

It's just the protective plastic shipping film.
Personally it's the first thing I removed as it's going to end up pealing off anyway
Same as the film on the black frame around the phone

100%? I tried to peel it off and I can't even lift the corner. Was your also so hard to remove?
Samsung logo on the bottom doesn't seem to be covered by this film and I can't see any border around it. Confusing a bit

If I remember correctly, the only thing that was to peel off the back was a black cover protector. There wasn't anything clear to peel off once the black cover was removed.

Yeah that's what I think. To make sure I went to Samsung Store and staff was completely unaware of any film on the back and they told me to not peel it off.
I think person above thought I ask about film on the framing which obviously is something to remove. Thanks for clarifying, at least I won't try to take that off. 😂

There was nothing to peel off other than the black cover on mine.

Yes, there's a definite ridge on the back which would make you think there is some sort of covering present. However, the Samsung branding feels different and would suggest it's not covered. I've tried to peel it at the corners but it's not moving so I'm not going to try harder. Anyway, the phone is in a cover so it makes no odds to me.

There's some sort of QR code on the back of mine..... it's either on a film or its a white label itself...... all videos iv wat he'd haven't got this on...... ????

You can peel it off, it's a separate label, tiny one. What I was asking for was the film on entire back panel but already know it's a factory cover and should stay on the phone. Barcode is probably for manufacturing purposes, comes of easily
