Hi, just got new S23+ and zero notifications come thrrough on blackscreen, only when tapping the screen, its possible to see them. Telegram, Messenger, GMail, nothing works. It vibrates, but NOTHING COMES ON THE SCREEN THAT I COULD SEE.
I have tried absolutely every trick I have found on the internet except factory reset, as setup with Smart Switch and re-loogging into most apps took me like 5 hours anyway.
Any ideas, how to get help?

I think I may have found a solution, go to your always on display setting and turn it on, go down to where it says auto brightness and turn that off and then it will show a bar. Move the cursor at the end to increase brightness all the way. Then turn off AOD and it should work. At least it did for me

This worked for me
Go to Always on display settings, turn it on
Find auto brightness within AOD setting and turn it off
Once off a bar will pop up, move cursor to end of the bar to increase brightness
Turn off AOD and that should work

In summary, notification style must be BRIEF in order to pop-up when screen is off
So what is Pop-up style DETAIL for? Very annoying ONE UI experience. (came from EMUI/HarmonyOS)

Thank you SO MUCH! It took me a while to understand from this chain that it wasn't anything to do with my actual lock screen settings but that the screen itself wasn't turning on. This worked for me!
