How to remove the multi-window bar from home screen?

For the last few weeks I keep getting that annoying grey bar with 3 dots at the centre, right in the middle of my homescreen.
Tapping it does nothing.
Rotating my phone gets rid for a while but it always returns.
It does not appear on my apps pages.
How do I stop it from constantly appearing on my homescreen please?

I tried Samsung support and they tried to convince me that I had damaged the screen!

Can you send a screenshot? I have the same phone, so I might be able to help.

Since I asked the question, I have checked and just received the one ui 7 update, so maybe that will solve the problem?

Hi, jumping here. I'm using Tab A9+, same case here, there's extra 1 bar on top and every time i open apps, it alwyas show in pop-up view instead of full screen view.

I guess this is part of new update of OneUI, but i need the switch-off button for this new feature.

Anybody can tell how to remove this bar and open my app in full as before?

Thank you.

Have you tried disabling multi-window for all apps in the developer options menu?

Thanks Chris B.

Turns out, i activated Samsung DeX when it was offered after new system update.
Once i exit / stop using Samsung DeX, the bar just gone and all the apps return back to normal view.

I tried to contact samsung remote tutor / support, let them remote my device, but seems they dont really understand about this new features too.

So now all clear, i can switch back between normal view and with pop-up window view as i needed.

Hope this help others too.

Regards,
