S23 FE using samsung messages app with BOARDS

I'm using the samsung messages app and I also use BOARDS - I've enabled the BOARDS keyboard but I'm not finding where to switch to it when texting? My S8 had a keyboard icon on the lower right - but I'm not seeing that here?

Unfortunately I do not use that app @Elbie

Have you considered Samsungs own app 🤔

@Elbie: While I'm not certain if this feature is applicable to the BOARDS keyboard, please try heading to Settings > General management > Keyboard list and default > Keyboard button on navigation bar > On.

If this option is enabled, but you can see a microphone symbol in the bottom left, then please tap the Back button, select Samsung Keyboard settings > Voice input > None.
