I updated it several days ago too. The phone works faster and smoother, however the battery usage is noticeably higher. I hope they will address this in a next update.

After the update, the battery will need to recalibrate itself. Give it 12–14 days.

This has been posted about so much- have a gander

It's happening same to me as well. It should fix on its own

Hopefully it does fix on its own like as it won't be good for the fone charging it like 3 times a day oui6 battery would last nearly most of tje day

Its 90% gonna be a case of needing to wait for calibration.

However you can also attempt clearing the cache partition

Turn off the device.

• Connect the phone to a computer. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
• When the Android logo appears, release
• Use the Volume Down button to highlight Wipe cache partition.
• Press the Power button to select Wipe cache
partition. Use Volume Down to highlight Yes. • Press the Power button to confirm the action

Just updated my comment with how.

As said the calibration is normal to occur after an update

Well dont have a computer so thats out of the question so I might aswell wait like you said as I'm not doing a factory reset as ive read its worked, for most people but not doing that and losing everythink as it resets the whole phone....

A factory reset, to me- wont make a difference. So yes, best option is to wait- and hopefully thats the end of it and it goes back to normal after calibration
