I don't know if there's an issue with the S Pen capturing information using Smart select, but I've encountered something that seems different.
I'll capture information, let's say text, and receive the confirmation that the information is copied to clipboard.
OK, so far, so good. If I then place the cursor (using the S Pen) in the search bar of a browser, I would normally expect to see the Paste prompt, but instead, I see a very quick message which would seem to indicate that information is gone (though still in clipboard). That message come and goes very quickly, too quickly.
This behavior seems to be different than from before this last update. Is this just me, or is there an issue?
If this is an issue, I'm sure others will report this as well.

I'll go step by step and explain what I do.
I can manage to extract text to paste elsewhere but it really seems like a lot of steps (especially when compared to performing the same task in Windows).
I'll come across an article in Google News. I'll use my S Pen to copy / extract, say, a name to look up.
I then Copy the desired text (using the S Pen) and see a confirmation that the material was Copied to clipboard.
If I then go to paste that material in, say, Google Search, there's nothing to paste.
I have to repeat that same process and after having copied the material in question, click on the box - bottom right with the letter T, and then I've extracted the text in question.
In Windows this is simply, copy and paste. Why does the same action here use so many steps?
Has it always been this way?

I suspect that it treats it as an, cut out, image unless you use extract as text to start with

Same problem here mate, since last update and that's not normal. I've been a user of spen since almost the beggining and seems to be a bug. Help! That's very handy... Thanks
