The s pen, how many actually use it? I know some pull it out once and to never use it again. I recently posted about Samsung's PENUP app. I know drawing is not for everyone, just like certain hobbies. We all have our favourites. Im posting just to see if I could get any one to give the s pen a go at drawing. Myself only recently just started, I was not the best at art while at school. It's certainly something that hasn't interested me, even though my mum has always been great at art. In the evening in my free time I've been giving PENUP a go, and in the little time I have been using the app, I really think I've improved. I'll share some of my work. Hopefully others may get the s pen out and share in this post too👍. Give it a go 😊.

If you you are artists or got a lot of free time in your life, lucky ones. Just tried few times, that's it. The pen is not for daily use with the phone.

Use it every single day as a mouse/pointer and as a pen. Couldn't be without it...

My passion for devices with styluses started with the old Palm Pilots and later Nintendo DS. I found how much easier it was to have one and was excited when I got my Note 3 in 2018.

Maybe the right question should have been "How many people are using S-Pen really often?"
Because I know a lot of Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G users, and the majority of them (including myself),
is using the S-Pen quite rarely, just really time after time.
But there is also a group of people, who are using this feature quite often,
and even some of them can't literally live without S-Pen.
In my opinion,
Samsung should consider to make a S Ultra series phone without the S-Pen,
and the space might be used for a bigger battery,
or for the headphone jack.
I would like to see the return of this useful feature.

I am one who cannot live without S pen due to being it to be able to use my phone.  The biggest reason I need the s pen is not only due to poor dexterity but due to Sensory issues, I don't like the feeling of using my fingers on touch screens so I need a good stylus

That's exactly what I meant.
So it can be a S Series without the S-Pen with the bigger battery, or the headphone jack,
and also the Series with the S-Pen for someone,
who really needs it.
But obviously,
if the majority of the smartphone users would need this feature,
the smartphone manufacturers would have this feature available on a much larger scale.
Apart from Samsung and some of the third-league manufacturers,
nobody has the stylus in its current actual product range.
That's exactly why I mean that the ditching of the Note Series was a mistake.
The Note Series were made especially for the people,
who wants or needs the S-Pen.
I agree, time after time is good to have it,
I'm using the S-Pen once per month, sometimes even less often.
I would prefer the headphone jack,
because I have great, Hi Resolution Audio headphones with an unbeatable frequency range,
which is currently impossible to achieve with the Bluetooth headphones,
because they are sending the "packets" of the compressed sound,
and it has an impact on the sound quality.
Not mentioning the necessity of charging the phone more often,
because with the Bluetooth on, the battery is drained quickly and of course,
I need to charge the Bluetooth headphones too.
The Bluetooth technology is great while driving,
because in the car you don't need great sound quality,
at the gym, but if the sound quality is your priority,
a "wire is wire".

Some people do fine without a pen being used with their phone and don't mind being limited mostly to fingers and universal styluses. But there's people like me who do need the S pen. I think there should be 2 variants of the Ultra where they have the same kind of camera system but one has s pen one doesnt

My mother and I now have the same tablet, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Hers is pink, mine is blue. I made her get something with an S Pen due to both of us having poor dexterity
