"Extend Unlock" not working with "Trusted Places" (i.e., Home)

On my Samsung S23 Ultra (through Verizon), the "Extend Unlock" feature is not working with "Trusted Places" (set to my home address selected using Google Maps) while I am home. Even with that set in "Trusted Places" (and being there!), I'm having to enter my phone's 4-digit PIN *each* time I turn on my phone -- even if it's a minute after it was on the previous time. (I also have a "Trusted Device" specified (my laptop which is almost always running), but my phone doesn't appear to recognize that either as I still have to input my phone's 4-digit PIN each time I turn it on.) This is very frustrating!

I'm trying your suggestion of turning off WIFI scanning. So far so good.

Just wanted to share that this seemingly irrelevant setting seems to work. Tried multiple ti,es and just now I pushed it to over 3 hours (right before the 4 hour mark where it requires a pin again).  Turner on in am unlocked state.

Well Carl4w is right unfortunately. After disabling wifi location, it worked fine all day. Next day it was locked again. I never left the house. I flipped wifi location on and off again, and it didn't fix it. Still no permanent solution I'm afraid. 

I always tell people that android has really cool features and a lot more of them than iphone, but they work about 40% of the time. Iphone has less capability, but always works. This is a good example. Pros and Cons!! 

Galaxy Watch with that rotating Bezel makes it all worth it though. Lol

So the Wifi scanning off worked perfectly only my S23 Ultra but still can't get my tablet to work. 

The OP has a S23 Ultra which means OneUI6.1

Is anyone here commenting that it still doesn't work who does not have OneUI6.1 ?

Mine only shows One UI 6.1. Updated last week.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. My mom gave me her old 7 generation. I've had it 3 years and it is still going strong. It works so smooth and it always does what I wanted to do.My s23, not happy with it. It sucks too because I'm a Samsung girl through and  through.I have TV's,  their washer and dryer but this phone. Its constantly disappointing me. I want to switch I think.
