Just needed to check if something can be done.

The problem happens when I am streaming music Spotify via my S23 but the sound output is selected to be a smart speaker eg. Bose smart speaker. Many times while listening to music and scrolling through IG/tiktok, sometimes I wanted to increase the volume of the content that I am watching (with the physical volume keys) I ended up blasting the speakers unintentionally, is there a way to disable that? Or change that? Issit a phone setting problem? Or Spotify setting problem? I have no idea.

Hi, In Settings > Sounds and vibration, setup Separate app sound.

With Separate app volume turned on, if any media is played on the phone, the phone volume is changed on pressing of buttons. You can then expand the volume panel to adjust other volumes.

Download Good Lock Sound Assistant app and add apps for which you want to control the volume at app level in Individual app volumes.

On pressing the up/down button you can change Individual app volumes.

I have an older set of Bose speakers physically connected to a Logitch Bluetooth receiver.

I send Spotify to those speakers (via the Logitech receiver) and can either control the volume level using the Bose remote control or the volume rocker on my S23 Ultra.
