This new update sucks it reminds me of apple. It has made doing things with 1 hand incredibly inconvenient. Is it possible to reverse. I left apple years ago because of how horrible there os looked and samsung is turing into a cheap version of apple. Plz tell me there is a way to reverse the update or change the icon styles while removing the two different swipe down sides one for notifications and the other side for setting. And change that horrible bubble that shows a battery % and change it back to its former style. Basically if I can't get rid of the downgrade of a software they upgraded me to can I swap everything back to the style of the old os. If I can't I might as well switch to apple because if I am going to have to use a worse version of apple might as well just use the same thing and I am asking for 6people rn my entire family is collectively losing there minds over how bad this update was. So plz any help would be extremely recommended.

This is the WORST most UN-FRIENDLY user interface since the invention of interfaces! I hate EVERYTHING about this update! I cant clearly read my battery percentages anymore, I cant locate my apps easily, everything is rearranged, and I hate that the search bar is now on the bottom rather than the top! I hate the split interface. This truly is irritating 😒  and frustrating. All of my Samsung friends agree too.  I wish Samsung would go back to the previous screen features and ditch this wanna be poorly done iPhone interface. It's 100% the worst update Samsung has ever rolled out! I'm starting to consider switching phones to a completely different brand now. And I've had ONLY Samsungs since 2002.  I truly hope they read our feedback and create a solution for EVERYTHING they just messed up with this HORRIBLE garbage of an update!

@GreenFish: I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way. While some changes such as the repositioning of the Search bar in the Apps screen can't be changed, it is possible to switch back to the Quick Panel interface found on previous Android versions. To do so, swipe down from the top right corner of the Home screen > Tap the pencil symbol in the top right > Panel settings (top left) > Together.

Reflashing the latest ROM solved the battery drain issues, but wired android auto is still not connecting. And you have to spend a day to reinstall all apps and log in everywhere.
