after this update the always on display brightness adjustability has gone mow i cant see the clock why take away features angry

Why not just have it adjustable in Settings? Much easier.

there is an option in goodlock lockstar  app to adjust the AOD brightness

If you turn on your lock screen and then turn your phone sideways, the lock screen will be in landscape mode. Then turn on always on (by tapping the screen twice or pressing the power button) and that will also be in landscape mode. 

 

Brightness can be adjusted using the GoodLock app, as can the clock style and colour.

Correction: You can change AOD clock style and colour by editing the lock screen.

Absolutely agree! Might as well change the name to "Almost on display" This was my primary clock and now I am unable to see it most of the time. Not thrilled with this update in the least...

Same problem here on S21 ultra, I used AOD to have a clock during sleep and now I can't see anything, I don't want two new apps installed just for a brightness slider that was here before!

Download the good lock app then download lockstar  then turn off the auto brightness buttonScreenshot_20240711_174054_LockStar.jpg
