Not Receiving Push Notifications from Tracking App TRUTRAK

I have a Samsung S23 and until recently I was receiving push notifications from the tracking app TruTrak. Since the latest Samsung update (Android 14/One UI 6.1) they have stopped completely. I have:
Restarted phone
Deleted Trutrak app and reinstalled
Deleted Phone Cache
Notifications are ON, Battery Optimisation is OFF, Do Not Disturb is OFF, Manage Notifications per App is ON.
I have tried everything but still no notifications.
Trutrak say the alerts are being triggered from there end so don't see a problem.
In fact I installed the app on an old Samsung S10e and I get the alerts.
Samsung Members say it is a third party app so contact TruTrak who say its working so must be a Samsung issue.
Any ideas on what the problem could be or where to go next.

Have you had any notifications from the app at all ?

Have you checked you've allowed data to the app (Settings, connections, data, usage, allowed network for apps)

Also check Special Access (Settings, Apps, Special Access, Notification access)

And Special Access (Settings, Apps, Special Access, Alarms and reminders)

Yes I had notifications up until the latest Samsung Software update.

Allowed Networks for Apps is set to Mobile Data or Wi-Fi for TruTrak app.

Special Access - Notification Access - TruTrak does not appear in the list
Special Access - Alarms and Reminders - TruTrak does not appear in the list

I checked on the Samsung S10e that does receive the notifications and TruTrak is also not listed under Special Access Notifications or Alarms and Reminders.

Ok, that's ruled those out (some apps need that access to provide a continuous service)

Have you opened the complete notification settings (Settings, apps, TruTrak, notifications, notification categories, and then checked they're all enabled)

While you're there, also check permissions (Settings Apps, TruTrak, permissions and check all of the permissions are allowed. Also check the last option isn't enabled (pause app activity if unused)

Push Notifications under Notification Categories are enabled
Permissions are allowed and Pause App Activity is not enabled

Ok, good, so the phone is set up correctly (it should be as an update shouldn't really change app settings). I'm not familiar with the app, but it's a vehicle tracker, which you're subscribed to and have an account ?
The only other thing to try is to log out (on both devices), then try going to settings, apps, TruTrak and deleting cache and storage data. You may have done this already, but try once more and then reboot the phone. When phone has restarted log back in, set up the app with all permissions and notifications as before then see if it works (sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't remove the data, which may have been corrupted).

Thanks for the suggestion. I have done this and will see what happens.

Today I got push notifications so it seems your last suggestion has done the trick 🥳 Thanks for spending time to assist with this problem.

Excellent news 😀 it was probably the data that got skewed in the update, which is quite unusual, but thinking about it it's probably more likely than your notification settings changing.
Anyway, glad it's sorted 👍
