No face tag option

Hello all

I have my 23 ultra for almost 10 months

I always assumed that there would be a face tag option in gallery

Three option is not there for most photos

I have tried to check if it had to do if there are coverings when taking photos of faces, if it has to do with received or personally taken photos, but there is no pattern

There is no face tag option.

Does anyone know what makes the option available?

Or is there a universal app to do that?

Open gallery and tap the spyglass button.

Hi there. Thank you for this. I have tried this many times but it has only 7 faces, I assume from the past and there is no option to tag new faces

Seems to have gone missing also on S22+. Previously tagged photos can be searched, but no option to tag new faces.

Sorry about that. I haven't shot any new people so don't know if eventually gallery sees them. I'll have to test this.

Open the picture

Click on the 3 dots

Click details

You should be able to see the faces to tag.

No details menu either. When swiping up on a photo, there's details, remaster, remove object and single word tags. No face tagging
