Hello Community People.

I received a UI 6.1 update after which i noticed that 'share' option has been replaced by 'Tag' in the call register in 'Phone'.  'Share' option was available in call register in the 6.0 update. This was much helpful if i wanted to share the unsaved number over SMS or whatsapp with someone.

Now the option 'Add', 'Tag', 'Block' and 'Delete' are available and there is no option of 'Share' as it used to be in the previous update.

With the new update, if i have to share the number that is unsaved, i am either required to save the number first or take the screenshot and share it over whatsapp.

can someone please help, how can i get the 'Share' option in call register?

 Sagar

@Sagarnewage: Have you tried tagging the number with a name, to see if the share option becomes available to you? If it doesn't, you can add the number as a contact, then select it from the Recents list, and tap the 'i' in the top right to reveal the Share option. You also have the option of pressing and holding on the phone number itself, and hitting 'Copy', allowing you to paste the number in the text message or WhatsApp conversation.

Hello AndrewL

Tagging an unsaved number does not reveal the 'Share' option. The only resort left is either saving it or copying it and then sharing which is tad tedious than simply hitting the 'share' button.

Not very happy to see this go

Unfortunately, this is american profiling through google, they WANT a name against that number.
I believe more and more Samsung is getting the blame for what google are doing, through their operating system.
My original galaxy S phone, did everything I wanted, from net, notes, calls, video calls, maps, blietooth, wifi, social media etc, all on a 900mb software UI update, now its 26 GIGABYTE.
Everything is about letting google know, who you are, where you are, who's round you, who's devises are around you, who ALL your contacts are, and about organising your photos and videos in a way they can be rapidly sifted through, or sent to americas cloud based system.
There is no customer based benefit from removing the share facility from US the consumer.
Never thought I'd say this, but, google are making our Samsung phones almost as bad as apple, ic that were even possible.
I wish Samsung would have had the last ten years developing their OWN Tizen software optimised for their OWN phones.
Still I guess america would have set on fire another of Samsungs phones if they tried that path.
