Modes & Routines is stuck on loading. I have cleared cache & data, uninstalled recent update and had to reinstall it, restarted my phone, force stopped. And installed Software 17. I now can't even get it to load to customize my modes the way they were before the non-loading. It's extremely frustrating as I use them daily!
Phone: Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra
Software: 17

So please tell me how to solve the problem. I tried clearing the memory and data and nothing helped. When I force stop in the application settings and start the modes, they work, but when I restart it takes a long time to load again, and when it loads, you can't even move in the selected mode. Simply non-functional. Modes are quite necessary for me.

Same thing here with a brand new s25! however, after resetting the cache and the app data, it eventually loads in a few minutes, but when i click on a routine (say driving) and i click start, the app immediately crashes, and a popup says "modes and routines keeps crashing"
edit: Version 4.8.05.1 for reference

try version 4.9.03.0, dont forget to backup all your routines before.

Unfortunately, it doesn't offer this version to me yet.

look for download link at apkmirror or something. moderators wont allow posting links from 3rd party suggestions... i can understand them actually... but if you want a solution - this is what i can offer you, for me it fixed the issue.

Same here on S24U, cleared cache and data, restored to default settings, uninstalled updates and still the same loading wheel. Quite frustrating, fix it asap please

I have an S24U, and even though I didn't side load the apk as I'll just wait until the official release is in the store, I did find a work around with version, 4.8.04.0. I got the settings back by figuring out how to enter safe mode, and I'm able to keep the one minute spinning wheel from showing up except once per restart as long as I'm careful.
To do this, I used the setting "Show Modes and routines on Apps screen" and then selected "Keep open" in recents. The modes still pause for a painful one minute, but at least I was able to add my modes back and now I don't have to worry about re-entering them again. As long as you go to the app panel and tap on the Modes there and then select the mode you want, there is no spinning circle or freeze up as I was able to select sleep mode last night and then unselect it this morning. I got the routine I use working again, but after every restart I have to disable and then reenable it -- I had found with a test routine that this was also enabled, so you only have to disable/enable one for them all to work again per restart. I don't use the automatic feature, so I don't know if that works.
If you can get through my rather long post, which goes through much of this in greater detail, I hope this is helpful for you until the update is officially released.
