I have encountered an issue with the Samsung phone app on my new S23 Ultra. When attempting to merge calls to initiate a conference call, the merge call feature fails to function, displaying the message "call won't hold." I have verified that the app is updated to the latest version. As an alternative, I tested the Google Phone app and experienced no difficulties in merging calls for conference calls. Given the superior AI features of the Samsung phone app, I would prefer to resolve this issue and continue using it. Kindly provide a solution to rectify this problem.

Indeed, that solution proved effective. They disabled and then re-enabled the feature, which subsequently restored its functionality.
