Loss of mobile signal

Been using an Ultra S23 since release date with no problems. Installed the Patch dated 01 Mar 23 on 09/03. Today, I have had no mobile signal coverage - emergency calls only. Rebooted phone and it went straight to 5G. 

Hope this is a one-off. Anyone else had similar issues?

Hi @Si30a. You shouldn't be stuck with a phone that has a fault like this if you have been in touch with Samsung support and followed their troubleshooting steps.
My personal, non-professional advice would be to contact Samsung and request a replacement as the phone sounds like it is effectively faulty. i.e. It does not perform a function that it could reasonably be expected it should. I'd expect Samsung to be pretty amenable to this repair or replacement under warranty. My son had a Galaxy A series repaired under warranty and it was a good, quick service.
However, if this doesn't lead to a satisfactory outcome, you may have legal statutory rights to call on. If you bought it in the UK, there is the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can use. Secondly, if you paid for the phone on a credit card, you would have protection too via Section 75 and can claim against the credit card company for the value of the phone if you follow the correct process. Hope you manage to get it sorted, and are eventually able to enjoy your S23.

Not just me then, only had phone few month , worst phone for signal , can't even be 3 meter away from WiFi box because that's weak aswell,

Hi,

I bought a brand new S23 and the signal was so bad I returned it to Giffgaff who sent me a new S23. Exact same problem. I also followed all the possible fixes online and suggested by Giffgaff. It did not Improve. I sent the 2nd one back and got a refund. I've just ordered a Like New S22 so fingers crossed the signal works correctly. It's obviously an issue with the antennae and Samsung should be recalling them.

My s23 ultra *****. Poor signal, Poor mobile data. I'm sure it's a hardware issue.

Brand new S23 Ultra, out of the box, poor or zero mobile reception. I have another S23 and can make direct comparisons. I sent it back - they just returned it to me and said it was "fine after exhaustive examinations" - I put on invisible fluorescine marker before it left and the phone hadn't even been looked at. They are lying .

I suspect the antenna has a poor connection or a dry solder joint.
