location not working

My location is turned on but the little symbol that's normally at the top with Bluetooth, WiFi, ect isn't showing. I've granted location permission in Google maps but whenever trying to use Google maps it only let's me preview not start the journey

Set the starting location to "My Location" and it will prompt you to grant the Location permission

Spot on @xSteveuk. If you don't get to the grant permission banner and grant that permission then things won't work on maps. Period. 👍
