July 2024 update

Anyone know how long roughly till the July update. My wife’s s23 is driving us crazy now only way to charge it is wirelessly  and keeps saying water in charging hole even though it’s never seen a drop of water in its life.

Hi Ash,

The last update released for my S23U was build number S918BXXS5CXE9 June 17th, but that was just June's security update. The one before that was build number S918BXXU5CXE3 released 11th June, which contained some stability and reliability updates.
I'm not expecting any more stability updates in July, at least, I've not heard anything to the contrary.

The July update I got was the normal security patch 314 99mb nothing else just any bug fixes, I also read that the July update for the S24ultra was about the same no camera updates which it's rumoured that will come with the August update

Try wiping the cache partition, may fix the charging issues, it may be worth trying.

Thanks, but It's just a security update. No stability / operational fixes in it.

so every other phone seems to have got the July update just not the most up to date phones? like the s24. that makes no sense. the last update is lagging a lot, I hope they fix it
