Google play system update

Hi folks I'm having an issue with Google play system update it's stuck on October 2024 and won't update any help very much appreciated

You don't have a problem. October is the latest update.

It depends on what phone you have, my s22 has the november Google play system update. Some people I know with other phones are still on October too

Then I assume Samsung has paused updates for the s23 series till they fix something. Sometimes play security updates break things so Samsung pauses them for a few weeks

You should wait till it becomes available to your device.

It's Google that sends out the Google Play services updates. Samsung runs it's own software patches for all models so is completely separate to Google.

You are correct sorta, but Google allows phone companies to pause Google play security updates if there's a known compatibility issue with them. So Samsung might see the latest Google update causes issues on some phones, so Samsung pauses the update till it can be made compatible. A few years ago they were paused for 2 months on most Samsung phones
