Issues when plugged into my car by aux cable

I'm currently having issues with my s23+ when plugged into my car by aux cable. If someone phones me while my phone is plugged in. I can hear them but they can't hear me talking at all ? I don't understand why, I never had any issues with my iPhone in my car. If anyone has any ideas of what I can do to sort this, I would appreciate it

I purchased a new AUX cable and it did the trick. Mine was 3 years old or so mind, so not sure if that had anything to do with it.
