How to control which apps wireless headphones start

Any advice, my headphones used to control my audio books apps to start listening when tapped, but this has changed to being Spotify. How do I change which app the headphones control ?

Check your routines, see if there is a routine setup for your headphones

On phone, settings, magnify glass, type routines, it should appear there

Hi there are no routines set up for headphones is there another option to check why headphones now prioritise Spotify over other apps? This didn't used to be the case.
