Hey, could someone advise please. I need to clear the cache partition on my s23 plus. Im aware the old way no longer works and that you jave to either plug into a computer or use usb c headphones. I don't have a computer, or headphones. Im going to buy some ysb c headphones but they will solely be used just to wipe this cache partition, and I certainly won't be doing it regularly at all. I don't want to spend another £30 on headphones after having to buy chargers and cases etc. I've seen some cheap ones on amazon. Am anyone confirm if these will work for the purpose, or do they definitely have to be Samsung branded ones? Thank you in advance.

Ah that's annoying. Was it genuine Samsung headphones, and did they used to work on the particular set?

I can confirm using headphones no longer work on the s23 series. I read in another post. You can use another device, someone used their s21 ultra to plug the cable in. Also someone used a usb on they're TV.

Thank you. I tried my tv, but had to use a adapter as the tv is old and it unfortunately didn't work. I also tried by connecting it to my s8 and i think that is too old to support it as it just charged the s8. Im so disappointed and stressed with this. Don't understand why they would remove it. Thank you for trying to help.

It is a shame they made it to have to be plug into a pc. I remember just pressing the buttons after powering down withoyt the need of being plugged into anything.

Yes. I can't understand why they would do this.
