Hey Google... not getting a beep

Anyone got a fix for this. 

The beep disappeared on the last update

On your device, open the Google Assistant app .Ask a question or say a command. Hey Google, open Assistant settings'. Or go to Assistant settings.Under "All settings", tap General  Preferred input.Choose your preferred input.To say your question or command: Tap Voice.To type your question or command: Tap Keyboard.

Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't fix the problem.

I say: Hey Google

Google responds only on screen. It is supposed to respond with a beep, so that I can tell that it is activated without looking at it

And until today, that is what it used to do. Important in hands free setting

Open settings
In search bar
Type in
Google assessment
All you need is here
See if you can fixes

Go to assistant settings then accessibility the settings are in there but it does mention that you have to have a screen reader turned on.

Tried searching play start sound too

Annoying for lots of reasons

AFTER TRYING MANY DIFFERENT THINGS FIRST, I WAS ABLE TO SOLVE MY ISSUE BY: retraining my voice again.
1. Going back into my Google Settings 
2. Hey Google & Voice Match
3. Retrain Voice Match model.
