I really want rid of the new ui6 that i recently installed ( I just do not like it ) but i'm not really computer savvy enough to try rolling back using smart switch,

How would things work out if i reset my phone to factory settings

First, install smartswitch to your pc, then connect your phone to the pc with type c cable. Finally, Start Smartswitch, and you will see the option to roll back to previous firmware. Cheers

Thanks for the quick response X50SLY,,, all i really wanted to know was if a factory reset would save me using the computer as , to say im hopeless on those things is an understatement

No, it won't revert to previous firmware, factory reset means only to clean your data to when you received the phone from the shop.

Unfortunately the only way to return to One UI 5.1 is to use smart switch on a PC/Laptop resetting to factory setting won't uninstall the beta you'll lose all your data for nothing

@tam1953  Need to withdraw from the Beta and roll back to previous version using Smart Switch. It shows you clearly in this video,can use either a Windows or Mac computer.
