Gmail font colour

So since having the s22 and now s23 ultra series the first issue was with FB messenger where the don't colour is almost the same as the rest so you can't tell which the next message is as it's pretty much the same colour ...now Gmail is the same the new email used to stand out but now it's all the same what's going on is there any fix for this...

I use the Gmail App on my S23 Ultra in dark mode.

When a new email comes in, it is highlighted. Read emails are not. I find it very easy to differentiate.

Yeh I get that but why should we have to change to dark it was ok yesterday now it's very faint same with messenger is in dark mode too there must me a fix for this 🙏🏼

I didn't say you had to change to dark mode, I'm simply saying that's what I use 👍

Yeh I understand I can use that but I'd just like to no the reason behind why it's gone really faint so it's don't stand out any ore for new emails etc
