Hi Everyone!
I have the brand new Galaxy S23 Ultra, and when i plugged in my Microphone using a 3.5mm Jack to USB-c Adapter there is noise on the recording.
Every time i speak there is winding noise also being recorded.
I have tried 3 mics so far, then i tested the mics on my notebook and all work well.
Any idea what type of USB-C to 3.5mm Jack should i buy to avoid noise?
At the moment i cannot record any video with moderate wind outside.
My mic is perfect for that and i cannot use it, so my videos is useless.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks heaps!
Cheers,
Alex

I don't have a fix for you but just trying to figure how you even got it to work? I have a 3.5mm mic and got the 3.5 to USBc adapter but my camera app won't recognize that I am even using an external.

I had this problem too. I plugged in my mic using an adapter and the USB microphone option was grayed out so I couldn't select it.

Did you ever find a solution? This is rediculous .

I have the same issue, I have tried 3 mics too, and I used the Samsung original Type C adapter, any solution? This is horrible.
I also tried the Apple Type C adapter but this one didn't reconize it

Hi,
Yes, the 3.5 Jack to USB-C is working, but it is annoyingly quiet and extremly noisy. And because I have an A35, there is no microphone switch option in the PRO VIDEO mode at all, so I could not use my external sound recorder devices to create a better audio.
