External microphone and internal device microphone records togather

Hello, I bought a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to make videos. I use an external microphone that connects via a USB Type C cable. The problem is that the video recording is done using the internal device's mic and also from the external microphone. I have never encountered such a case and I am unable to solve this problem. Apparently, to use an external microphone (bluetooth or USB) to record video, we have to use the "Pro Video" option under "More" in the Camera app. I went looking for the answer when I accidentally realized that sound wasn't recording through my bt headset.
