Dual Sim not working on s23 😕

Hi there, I bought the S23 the other day and wanted to put my dual sims to work. Previously on the s21 I had the one using data and the other for calls. However I cannot activate them both. The option is grey.

I've done resets and updated my phone and to no avail it hasn't worked .

 

 now I thought it maybe positioning. With the first tray empty. I looked to see of its due to one being an E SIM and it shouldn't make a difference.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi. Has anybody solves this problem? I have a new S23 Ultra and I have the same problem. It is very frustrating and inefficient - I am not happy. Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

This!  I had bought a new S23, and couldn't get dual sim to work.  Realized physical wasn't in slot 1, moved it, and now it works!  Thanks!

Samsung s23 ultra.sim slot 1 sim not working no sound for calling out or recieving. Sim slot 2 working fine it's the sim 1 no sound even if I use speaker.
